Biography
I am Amma Serwaa Adom, a young, passionate woman of God that lives to proclaim the Word amongst all nations to see, the power of the Kingdom of Heaven manifested in the lives of all friends of Jesus Christ. In 2013, I sought God and made the declaration to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal saviour. I took the leap of faith and applied the power of the blood of Jesus to begin my journey to fulfil the will of God and accomplish my purpose. Praise be to God, I found my first love and made a public declaration on the 14th of November 2014 through water baptism. Jesus Christ has now become my bridegroom where I have entered an arena to not only demonstrate the loving relationship between Christ and the church, but a holy covenant and commitment between three people; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I continue to strive towards the perfection of Jesus Christ through the work he does through me and reflect his image. Moreover, in every opportunity that the Lord makes a way in, I come through the power of God to impact and transform generations to come.
Favourite bible verse
My favourite bible verse is a common one by the Prophet Jeremiah. “For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you and plans to give you a future filled with hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). I love this verse so much, because it is through suffering that Christ raised me up into the person that I am today. This is the verse that bridged my life from the darkness of the world and the light of the Kingdom of Heaven. I had eyes but I had no vision, I had ears but did not listen, I had taste but never tasted the goodness of the Lord. But, once I found Christ, through his plans I had a vision, through hope I was receptive to his voice and through faith I tasted his goodness that I had never experienced before. “These troubles test your faith and prove that it is pure. And such faith is worth more than gold. Gold can be proved to be pure by fire, but gold will ruin. When your faith is proven to be pure, the result will be praise and glory and honour when Jesus Christ comes” (1 Peter 1:7).
Goal for AFC
My goal for AFC is to win as many souls as possible into the Kingdom of God. Now that I have become a new creation in Christ, God has given me the task of reconciliation. For God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors and God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead ‘Come back to God!’ For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:19 – 21). So just like Christ came to reconcile man back to himself, God has entrusted me that through AFC I reconcile man back to God.
